Back in the News Again: Nelson Goulart
November 23, 2007 ·
The Recruiting Sensei posted an article showing that the Recruiting Rebel out of Mississauga, Ontario, Nelson Goulart, had achieved a spectacular 117% increase in his agent population since the start of the year. A few days ago, the Recruiting Sensei was checking his Google Alerts ( a must for you, if you want to keep on top your competitors - we will do a short piece on this soon) and up comes an alert about Nelson again.
It nows appears that Mr. Goulart was not content with the 117% increase, and has since increased his count to 230% - and apparently the ticker is still going (39 days to go). If this keeps up, the Recruiting Sensei may be looking to Mr. Goulart for advice.

Signature Service GMAC Real Estate enjoys a 117% increase in its agent population utilizing AlignMark’s iNTELAGENT
Toronto, Ontario, October 8, 2007: Nelson Goulart, Broker of Record/Owner of Signature Service GMAC Real Estate is rapidly becoming a force to be reckoned with in his market place, as his agent base has grown by a spectacular 117% over the course of just one year. Goulart stated, “About one year ago, I decided we needed to overhaul our operation and bring in some systems that allowed us to better manage the overall business and get a better handle on our recruiting pipeline”.
Goulart said, “By implementing iNTELAGENT, our central recruiter was able to easily track and manage both new and experienced agents and keep in touch with them via the DRIP campaign management system.” “I attribute our phenomenal growth to our Premier Service offering, our unique high energy culture and the deployment of iNTELAGENT into our recruiting department” said Goulart.
“Nelson Goulart is recognized as a visionary in the GMAC organization and in the real estate industry; and we were thrilled when he became one of the early adopters of the iNTELAGENT solution back in early 2006” stated Don Kottick, VP, Products & Services. “Nelson quickly grasped the power of DRIP campaigns and how they can be tailored to different segments of the recruiting pipeline combined with variable frequencies and durations”.
“Signature Service GMAC Real Estate will continue on the same growth curve in 2008, regardless of market conditions targeting both new and experienced agents” said Goulart. “My recruiting team is also looking forward to the innovative enhancements and tools that they have planned for iNTELAGENT in the coming year”.

September Resale Market Shows Strength
TORONTO, October 3, 2007 -- The Greater Toronto Area resale housing market continued its strong, stable pace in September with 6,866 transactions taking place, Toronto Real Estate Board President Maureen O’Neill announced today.
This marks an increase of four per cent as compared to September 2006 and is within six per cent of the record set for the month in 2005.
Prices increased to an average $380,132, up five per cent over the previous month. “Year-to-date sales are up 11 per cent as compared to the same timeframe in our record year 2005,” said Ms. O’Neill. “This bodes well for a strong outcome to this year.”
In Scarborough Center (E09), sales were up 38 per cent as compared to September 2006, due to a significant increase in the number of detached homes sold.
Sales in High Park (W02) increased by 34 per cent as compared to last September, mainly as a result of a tremendous increase in the sale of semi-detached units.
Condominium apartment transactions led the way to a 64 per cent overall increase in sales in Willowdale (C07).
Richmond Hill South (N03) also saw a strong number of condominium apartment sales, which resulted in an overall increase of 26 per cent as compared to September 2006.
“Resale housing numbers in the GTA have been consistently positive, reflecting a healthy market,” said Ms. O’Neill. “We hope that the City of Toronto doesn't jeopardize this market by imposing a second land transfer tax on home buyers."
